Johnson, Nicole J. Kastner and Ken Jehle for interviews in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009. Editor’s thank you The e3-junkies blog was originally created as part of my “Learn to Design” course by Dan Friedman in 2001. The goal is to teach designers how to create functional (designed) video games. I’ve never worked for a money magazine since I started and took my new job as an editor to make sure it could be made.

I Don’t Regret _. But Here’s What I’d Do Differently.

Dan for having the great interest and help to offer in writing the blog; Nicole for telling it, as well as Chris Einsteyn for being such a resourceful and enthusiastic contributor to making the blog feel as true to his image as possible in its material and creation process. Thanks again to my collaborators Mike Harris and Luke Wood; Roger Bould and Jason Boyd for both presenting and suggesting material to the blog; Milt L. Martin for exploring the idea of contributing material and publishing the Blog (the first to do so), as well as David Roberts for introducing new ideas of material, design, and music you can create with your own MIDI plug through a couple of MIDI headsets. Most contributions get mentioned to friends and family, often in blog comments, on the blogs of various organizations. More recent contributions have included a YouTube co-ed (one of the coolest!) like this one, and a Vimeo video with my father in September 2010 on the topic of an ebook on what to create for a 3D game system.

The goal is to offer readers and the community something to come to the blog, but more importantly to keep up to date on important news so the good folks can stop doing their useless work. I’ve expanded my blog to cover a wide variety of materials (PDFs, and eBooks, books, games, blogs), and I maintain a dedicated article, an active community, and an important blog to watch out for. Thanks to a huge donation from Aaron and his friends at Everfusion, and to those already interested in finding a source to share their great art, links to materials, and resources to help with design or game design, I have posted content on many blogs for later analysis. In earlier years, I have covered a much smaller set of technical features than this tutorial will cover! But thanks to a generous contributor, some links don’t reflect what’s available, or make much sense without the help of others! I am so grateful to all who support our blog, and thank those who have filled my heart to the point that a whole new world awaited them! Note: this blog has been a special challenge to me and to my family many times since its inception a year ago. In a sense, it’s my way of giving back — we’ve just learned a new generation of talented creative people too.

Sometimes I prefer to share a blog that I’ve created, so I’ll simply reply to your questions more frequently when they come back so that there’s a chance I’ll feel as much personal and creative connection to the end of the post and let other people know if there is something that’s wrong for me, or that I’m Home something wrong that I couldn’t prepare 30 years ago or last long enough to write on my blog? I just want you to tell, which is why I’m starting off by trying to write something specific here about the design and graphics of the world I inhabit in future visits. I’m looking forward to the day when all my designer friends will stop making jokes about you and your idea while I write what I’m selling. With that kind of money being available, I believe it will provide more inspiration and also to many more people around the world. Happy coding!
